Overview
Public works and related infrastructure improvements present unique challenges in west suburban Cook County. Among the Committee programs and services designed to assist local public works departments: joint purchasing of materials and supplies, a municipal mutual aid agreement, and a directory of equipment available to member communities. The Committee also serves as a forum for information-sharing among department staff in the region.
